There have been rumors that Lucasfilm was planning on a Star Wars: The High Republic series or film.
We hate to say it, but those rumors are not true. The Republic aka Project Luminous has been debunked at a recent press for the illustration. There has even been a statement put on the Star Wars official website, which confirms that The High Republic are just novels and comic books.
This period on the Star Wars timeline will not overlap any of the filmed features or series currently planned for production, giving creators and partners a vast amount of room to tell Star Wars stories with new adventures and original characters.
Perhaps, though; there could be something developed down the road? What do you think?
