Stranger Things 3: The Game Revealed at E3

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”24289″ img_size=”768×433″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Netflix’s Stranger Things is one of the most popular shows on the streaming site. It would make sense then that the company would want to capitalize anyway they can. During the Electronic Entertainment Expo, there was a panel called Bringing Your Favorite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals into Video Games. A mouthful to say the least.

Stranger Things 3: The Game was one of the games mentioned. Netflix describes it as:

“An adventure game that blends a distinctively retro art style with modern gameplay mechanics to deliver nostalgic fun with a fresh new twist.”

You will be able to play as a character from the series and will be tasked with solving puzzles and fighting the Mind Flayer. According to the CEO and co-founder of BonusXP, Dave Pottinger; the game will feature old-school graphics. Which, makes sense considering the series itself takes place in the 80s.

Max and Eleven were featured at the panel. Max was shown exhibiting karate kicks and Eleven was described as the “most powerful character in the game”. She will feature psychic push power. Like the third season, the game will launch on July 4th. It will be available on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and more! There will also be a mobile hybrid RPG/puzzle game that will launch in 2020.

There will be more Stranger Things content moving forward as well.
