We have not even gotten season 4 of the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things, yet a new report from Charles Murphy says Netflix has plans for a fifth season. The studio has affirmed it is looking for an American male, mid-twenties, of any ethnicity for two seasons. This new character will be introduced as ‘Ashe’.
The studio is searching for a mid-20s American male of any ethnicity to play the role which comes with a 2 season deal, meaning the character’s arc, described as integral to the new season, will not be resolved until Season 5.
This is what confirms the fifth season. Many fans have been wondering how long the show will run. Netflix nor the Duffer brothers have said how long they plan for the series to run but this is great news that we will at least be getting two more seasons of Stranger Things. Unfortunately, we will probably have to wait until 2021 to see season 4. Filming is scheduled to start soon and last through November, says Murphy.
