[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”27626″ img_size=”700×392″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]If you are a fan of Supernatural, or if you’ve only just heard of the CW show; you probably didn’t think it was ever going to end. This is a sentiment shared with the cast, who are pretty sure we’ll see Sam and Dean again.

Jensen Ackles spoke at the TCA panel:

“It’s a long journey that I don’t think is ever going to be over. I think we’re just going to go away for a while. For how long, I don’t know.”

    Jensen then clarified:

“I’m not ready to close doors or burn bridges — that would be foolish. Is something in the works? No. Am I open to having a conversation in the future? Why not?”

While Jensen suspects that spinoffs of the show that don’t include the Winchester brothers may not be successful, co-star Jared Padalecki had a little more of a positive attitude towards the possibility of expanding the universe:

“I hesitate to maybe accept the idea that spinoffs didn’t work. They were great, I’m proud to have been parts of those episodes. They didn’t fit, I suppose. I do hope we see more of the Supernatural universe.”

CW President Mark Pedowitz was there, who spoke about it being the actors’ decisions to end the show at season 15. He also commented that he is very much ready to pick Supernatural back up when the actors are ready:

“All I can tell you is that Jared, Jensen, Peter Roth from Warner Brothers Studio and myself, had a very, very long, sad, heartbreaking discussion and we all came to understand what the guys wanted to do. They wanted to go out still relevant. They wanted to go be with their families. They wanted to see what else was out in the world and you know what? As we always said, and I said this many times, when they are ready to stop, we will stop. For them — and for Stephen Amell on Arrow — these shows are going out the way the way they were supposed to go… but if you can convince them to come back, I’m open!”

How do you all feel about Supernatural ending? What do you hope to see Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki do in the future?
