[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”20838″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Don Cheadle has portrayed War Machine since Iron Man 2 and you can see him in the latest installment, Avengers: Endgame, reprising his role that he took over after Terrence Howard dropped out – which, we’re all now very happy for.
In a recent interview, Cheadle spoke to Variety about what X-Men character he’d like to see integrated into the Avengers universe, considering now Disney has acquired Fox. Cheadle’s answer was a fan favorite and one that would be keeping its actor even after the merger:
“Yeah, I think that Deadpool would, I think we want to see that,” Cheadle said, “I just want to see Deadpool with these characters. Just something about that seems insane.”
Despite Deadpool being R-Rated and it seeming like no other Fox Marvel actor will reprise their role within the MCU, Disney recognizes the popularity of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and have stated they plan on keeping him, while developing more Deadpool movies. Whether this means he will be kept separate or eventually woven into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we’re unsure.
