[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”31590″ img_size=”700×393″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The Batman is bringing in a lot of talent. Now, we’re learning that Matt Reeves has cast rising talent as he brings in up-and-coming actress Jayme Lawson. The newly graduated Julliard alum has a great opportunity to be brought in to the next Batman movie, which is already garnering great buzz.
Lawson’s role is secretive for right now, but considering how great Reeves’ casting has been, we’re waiting with bated breath. Lawson may not have an IMDB page, but she’s signed up with UTA. This will surely gain her more roles and let’s face it, everyone has to start everywhere. While some start in commercials and others as background characters in romantic comedies, having your first gig as Reeves’ Batman movie is huge. Are we jealous? Just a little!
Still, it’s amazing to see the start of an actress’s journey and who knows where she may end up. While at Julliard, Lawson had experience in classical roles such as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet and Lady Macbeth. Lawson had previously stated that being Catwoman would be a dream role. Zoe Kravitz won that prize, but Lawson still gets to star alongside the other amazing actress.
Are you excited for The Batman?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
