After the shocking ending of issue #1, a ticking clock sets Batman on a trail throughout the different realities of the Multiverse. He starts to see all the iterations of his life, and what could have been…but more importantly, Bruce Wayne begins to deduce that his current life is somehow wrong, and that all the mistakes he’s made are somehow connected. Meanwhile, the Batman Who Laughs raises the curtain on his second act, pulling out the big guns to break into Arkham Asylum…enter one of the most punishing Batmen of the Dark Multiverse: the Grim Knight! – DC Comics

For me, The Batman Who Laughs might be my favorite villain in all of Dc Comics. He is nothing but pure chaos and unpredictability like the Joker combined with the intelligence and martial arts abilities of Batman. Batman is in a tight situation going up against The Batman Who Laughs I have never seen Batman become this desperate that he would have to save the Jokers life so that Batman can ask for his help. Not only does Batman have to fight off The Batman Who Laughs, but Batman also has to deal with another version of himself called The Grim Knight this version uses guns.

Then there is the lettering there is something different about the lettering that I really love. It is different from the usual lettering that I see in other comics books and I love it because it matches the feel of the art and the story behind “The Batman Who Laughs #2.

The Art by Jock and David Baron’s is done in a way that supports the dark tones of Scott Snyders story the action was drawn beautifully and the coloring is nothing to laugh at either from the blood to Batman’s eyes letting us know that he is slowly becoming like The Batman Who Laughs.

There is a lot going on in this weeks The Batman Who Laughs we got Batman trying to save the Joker’s life, we see Grim Knight in action and so much more. There is so much tension in The Batman Who Laughs #2 thanks to Scott Snyder, equally amazing art/coloring by Jock and David Baron, and Lettering by Sal Cipriano.
