Synopsis
True happiness begins in the heart. Our memories and emotions can play tricks on us, though, and divert one’s reality into something completely different. The Batman Who Laughs has based his entire worldview on this very concept, and it is in this moment that he must finally confront the one man who stands in his way, the one man who could complete or halt his plan…the last Bruce Wayne. It is here, on the home turf of Wayne Manor, that Bruce relives the happiest moment of his life—the moment he became the Batman Who Laughs. Will Batman be able to outthink the Dark Multiverse version of himself and stop his most sinister end? Or will the original Dark Knight succumb fully and let go of his morality? While good almost always wins, this issue is the start of something more…setting up a larger plan based in the ultimate betrayal of infection, loyalty and true happiness. This is not the end…it’s only the beginning. – DC Comics
Story/Art
Is there nothing Scott Snyder can’t do when it comes to storytelling? I have been loving Batman Who Laughs since #1, to be honest, this is most likely in my top three Batman stories of all time.
Batman Who Laughs art is nothing but brilliant from Jock’s art, David Baron coloring, to Sal Cipriano lettering. Let us talk about Sal Cipriano’s lettering! Since the beginning, we all notice the way Batman talked was becoming more like The Batman Who Laughs because of Sal Cipriano lettering and I’m loving it. There is no waste in Jocks arts the composition is near perfect, no matter what page I am looking at I am always focused which leads to David Baron coloring man those two are legendary. David Baron’s coloring is truly a masterpiece. You can feel the emotion in each page you can feel hope, dread, and so much more not just from this issue but every issue.
The story is something everyone should read for themselves if they want to see a Batman struggle as he has never struggled before. We got so much Batman becoming like his counterpart more and more so he can stop him. We also get Jim and James fighting grim knight, which was badass. Another fight with Batman and Batman Who Laughs, which was damn perfect not only because of the fight sequences but the dialogue between the two.

Issue #7 Hopes
I really want to see Batman prevail but if he doesn’t I will also be content with the ending. A resolution between Jim and James, and returning of kid bruce to his time.[/vc_column_text][vc_images_carousel images=”24144,24146,24147,24139,24140,24141,24142,24143″ img_size=”411×631″ speed=”3000″ autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
