The Crow Reboot Is Back in Production

The Crow has had a handful of sequels and was supposed to have one within the last two years. Corin Hardy had been set to direct and Jason Momoa was going to slip into the boots of Eric Draven. Suddenly, both Hardy and Momoa exited the project and Sony pulled the movie from their release slate in July, 2018.

Now, it seems like a reboot is back on. According to Bloody Disgusting, the project is back in active development. Samuel Hadida’s Davis Films, Highland Film Group, and Electric Shadow are allegedly all still involved.

The original 1994 film was pulled from James O’Barr’s comic and starred Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee’s son. Brandon died on set while filming a shooting scene. While the Crow had three sequels and a short-lived TV series, nothing could compare to Lee’s performance in The Crow. The Crow has since become a cult icon and a huge image in the goth community. Momoa would have been perfect, but will he return or will we have a new Crow?

Who would you want to play Eric Draven?
