The Crown’s Matt Smith In Talks to Join Edgar Wright’s “Last Night in Soho”

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”16251″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Edgar Wright’s upcoming psychological thriller, Last Night in Soho; might be bringing on some well-known actors, as it’s reported that both Matt Smith and Thomasin McKenzie (from Leave No Trace) are in talks of hopping on. Smith has gained notoriety from his work on Dr. Who and Netflix’s The Crown, so bringing him on for this project would be a great choice on Wright’s part.

Wright really made a splash with his 2017 Baby Driver, which was a fun and edgy take on heist films and had a killer soundtrack. While he’s mostly known for movies like Shawn of the Dead, he’s making it clear that this movie, which is set to take place in London’s Soho district; will be a psychological thriller. Anya Taylor Joy is also part of the cast, so if Smith decides that he wants to be a part of this movie, we at least know that great actors and a great director is a step towards the right direction for this movie to succeed.

Would you like to see Smith join Wright’s upcoming movie, which is set to begin production in the summer?
