The CW’s President Plans for DC Shows to Last a Long Time

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”14612″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]With The CW renewing all five of its DC properties (except iZombie that had already been given a final season, announced last year), it seems that there is no stopping the future of the DC world on the network. According to CW’s president Mark Pedowitz, he stated in a Q&A in regards to the number of shows he had in mind to bring in the lineup:

“We haven’t hit that saturation point in my mind.”

Pedowitz then went on to talk about the future of the shows:

“Things will age and we want to get the next generation of shows to keep The CW DC universe going for as long as possible,” he said.

Pedowitz even went on to talk about the huge cross over event coming this year, Crisis on Infinite Earths – calling it the “biggest and most complicated”. He even would go on to tease that it was likely that someone would end up dying during the event. As you know, Oliver, at the end of the Elseworlds event made a deal with the Monitor and we all assume that deal was for his life. Guess we will wait and see but good news is that all CW DC shows were renewed.

Batwoman will get its series order in May and as far as final seasons for any of the shows, which includes Arrow; are expected to come after May.
