[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”31374″ img_size=”644×362″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The last thing any actor or crew member wants to experience when filming is a potentially fatal accident. This is what those involved in Marvel’s upcoming film The Eternals could have experienced, when an unexploded bomb was discovered while filming. Everyone evacuated when the threat was found close to their shooting location at Canary Island of Fuerteventura.

Bomb experts were brought in to disarm the bomb, which is believed to be a remnant armament from a Nazi base. Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden were among those who had to evacuate. This remnant from World War II was removed, which everyone else was relocated to a safe place on the island.

An insider spoke with The Sun about the experience:

“It was obviously terrifying – the bomb could have been there for decades untouched but who knows what might have happened if it was disturbed. Some of the biggest stars in the world were on set and nobody was taking any chances. Fortunately, experts dealt with it.”

Luckily everyone is okay and an odd piece of history was discovered. The Eternals is set to hit theaters on November 6, 2020.
