[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”19982″ img_size=”786×441″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It has been reported that Marvel was looking for a gay actor to fill the main role in The Eternals and now, according to That Hashtag Show, it seems that the studio is specifically looking for an openly gay/bisexual Asian actor in his twenties in order to fill the role of James. James is described as “intellectual, emotional, and has a strong sense of family.” Other details have been under wraps, but we do also know that Angelina Jolie is in talks to also join the upcoming MCU film about the near-immortal beings.
That Hashtag Show is reporting that Conrad Ricamora is at the top of the list for James, though; nothing has been confirmed yet. Chloe Zhao will direct from a script that is being written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo. If these rumors are true, this can be a huge step forward for the mission of being more diverse that Kevin Feige has set out to do.
