Ezra Miller’s The Flash may be loosely telling the story of Flashpoint, but don’t expect it to include some key Flashpoint storylines. We already know that Jeffrey Dean Morgan won’t be reprising his role as Thomas Wayne. Apparently, the next change is that there will be no Atlanteans/Amazonian war featured either. Which, is a huge detail and it’s looking like the film will be Flashpoint just in name – similar to when The CW’s The Flash introduced its “Flashpoint” storyline.
It has been interesting for Miller’s Flash. The upcoming film has been delayed, changed directors, scripts, and we weren’t even sure if the actor would stay for the film. Granted, it is pretty cool that Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in this new movie. But, how will fans feel knowing these many changes are being made to a beloved storyline?
