Okay, so let me start out by saying that season two did pretty much wrap things up with a bow. There has not been any announcement for season three. So, I do think that this series (that originally started out as a miniseries) might just be a two-season show. And that’s okay. It’s totally okay – it’ll live on as an enjoyable, suspenseful, stylish thriller that I’ll love going back to. But, I really want more.
Slight Spoilers
This season has been just as good as the first one and I really want to say that at the heart of that is Cassie and Annie’s friendship. Which, is why I love the way season two ended – it just made me happy and filled my heart with joy. But, if you’re reading this review for the finale of The Flight Attendant season two, you’re probably asking, what about that subplot?
So, season two has focused on another story of someone framing Cassie. And even though it’s been a few days since the finale, I still don’t want to spoil too much. The plot of season two was good and I loved how we explored this new Cassie trying to combat with her old self. All while following along with the plots of Max and Annie, and with Megan’s troubles. But, it’s in the second half of the season finale that the show introduced a subplot that I wish had lasted throughout the whole season.
Minor Spoiler
Minor spoiler – you know that girl Jenny? The one that has been around the whole season and you really don’t know why? You find out why now and oh my God, I was hooked. I mean, I already was entranced by the final episode, but it was the Jenny reveal that really made me stop and pay attention. This was the true definition of Cassie’s past demons coming to haunt her – all in the form of an over-obsessed faux crime podcaster. It was great. It was deliciously unhinged. And honestly, I want more. Have I said that yet? I want more.
Rating: 8.5/10
Even if we don’t get more, though; as I said before, I’m happy with how things ended. I enjoyed this finale and this season. I think that it wrapped things up enough that if we don’t get another season, you’re not left hanging. However, I do think there’s still some stuff there that could be explored in a season three, if there was to be one. Either way, I’m going to miss Cassie and Annie – one of the best on-screen friendships between two characters I’ve ever seen.

The Flight Attendant season 2 built off the success of season 1 and ended on a high note. Kaley Cuoco continues to add to her impressive resume.
