Plot: A superstar singer and her overworked personal assistant are presented with a choice that could alter the course of their respective careers.
- Honestly, you had me at Kelvin Harrison Jr. being in the movie.
- Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross look to have great chemistry in this heartfelt inspirational story of two women with opposite trajectories. Maggie who is the assistant looks to spark her dreams within the show business as Grace looks as she might be on the downside of her career.
- Dakota Johnson is one of my favorite actresses. She was great in Peanut Butter Falcon and Bad Times at the El Royale. She looks to slay in this movie as well.
- Ice Cube as the manager? Sign me up.
Overall: The cast is loaded with talent, the story looks like one we have seen in the past but I think we could have a fun little heartfelt film here. The trailer sold me.
