Cable’s character is tough as nails and pragmatic, according to reports. We will see this character as devoted to her son and the town she serves under. We all know Beals has the capability of portraying a strong woman on screen, so this is a really good casting decision for the highly-anticipated DC series.
James Wan is the executive producer on the show, as well as many others. Swamp Thing will certainly be a violent and gory series added to the streaming service, which seems to be taking a darker tone with their shows, such as with the upcoming Titans series. For those who loved Beals on screen during the popular show The L Word, this is great news.
