The Laughs and Mayhem Continue in The Harley Quinn Season 2 Opener

Harley Quinn season one had to be one of my all-time favorite animated series. Not only that, but one of my favorite portrayals of the infamous Harley Quinn. With the iconic character voiced by Kaley Cuoco, this DC Universe app show remained loyal to a lot of comic book mythos, while turning much of it on its head. Season one ended in an explosion and it was clear Gotham would never be the same. So, where does that leave us in season two?

With the Joker seemingly gone, Gotham has become a virtual war zone. Something that Harley is pretty much reveling in. With she feels emancipated and victorious, she realizes that she can’t be the only one who deserves this feeling. It’s because of this that she decides to liberate all of the goons in Gotham, which does not sit well with the big-time villains who relied on their expendable lackeys.

Gotham is no longer anyone’s, except it seems to be multiple territories for the big-time villains to scatter throughout to gain some sort of sense of power. While Harley sees what she accomplished as a victory, her crew around her points out the abysmal conditions they’re now living in as a result. Harley has taken down the Joker, but at what cost? Clearly, we’re in for a wild ride and I cannot wait.

Speaking of wild rides, Geek Vibes Nation recently interviewed Harley Quinn’s co-creators Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker. Listen to the interview below for a taste of what is to come in season two.
