[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”16154″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]If you haven’t heard, there is a TV series adaptation of The Lost Boys that is expecting to head into production next month. The pilot has been described as:
“After 25 years away from home, Lucy Emerson (who is at the end of her financial rope) returns home to the small California beach town of Santa Carla, to live with her father Frank and teach at the local high school. But Lucy either doesn’t know or doesn’t share the town’s big secret with her two sons, Michael and Sam: Santa Carla has a nest of vampires secreted inside the city limits, and they are getting hungrier by the day.”
Collider has reported that the “Frog Brothers” will be gender-swapped and be the Frog Sisters instead. In the original film, if you remember, the Frog Brothers ran a comic book store, but considered themselves to be vampire hunters due to all the material the had read up on. It seems like the TV series will stay true to that plotline, just with a different gender that people are used to. I’m sure this will cause some sort of reaction among a group of fans, but it’s good to see things shake it up a bit.
