[vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/FSXr8nhMd-s” el_width=”90″ align=”center”][vc_column_text]While Jon Favreau is finishing up production for the upcoming Mandalorian series, it seems that another Marvel alum is attached to the Star Wars project.

Thor: Ragnarok’s director Taika Waititi will be directing the final episode for The Mandalorian, as a new video reveals.

Waititi is joined by others in directing the series, such as Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Deborah Chow, and Dave Filoni. Below you can see the synopsis of the series:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

There is no release date for the upcoming Disney+ streaming service, which the Mandalorian will premiere on; but we will keep you updated as we learn more.
