Now, you know that I love Disney Plus’s The Mandalorian. Pedro Pascal as Mando is perfect and who doesn’t love Baby Yoda? I really enjoyed the way that the second season opened up and I’m looking forward to the rest of the season. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed by the second episode of The Mandalorian because ultimately, it wasn’t important to the story. That we know of – I could be wrong. But, I’m pretty sure that this was a Dragonball Z filler-type episode.
Slight Spoilers
Mando is continuing his quest of finding another Mandalorian to help find a permanent home for The Child. This journey sends him on a mission with a Frog Lady to her husband. On top of all of this, Mando is becoming a babysitter to more youngins – her eggs. Which, Baby Yoda has gotten a taste for, so this added some comedic relief throughout the episode.
Rating: 3/5
On top of episode two being a filler episode, it did also serve as a good feature-creature episode. And I’m going to say this, but you should note I do enjoy both shows; The Mandalorian did spider monsters better than Netflix’s The Witcher. I don’t have a whole lot to say about this episode and it’s probably the shortest and emptiest review I’ve done for The Mandalorian. But that’s because it really was a filler episode – I’m hoping episode three gets back on track, because it’s not like there’s unlimited episodes.
