[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”26659″ img_size=”679×432″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The Russo Brothers are behind the upcoming animated adaptation of Magic: The Gathering for Netflix. During their panel at SDCC, they spoke about Avengers: Endgame and future projects. The brothers admitted that the grew up playing Magic and how happy they were to be involved in the adaptation. Joe Russo even teased that there might be a live-action adaptation at some point:
“It’s an animated project with the potential to spin it off into live-action. It’s a game we love — we’re geeks and love Magic: The Gathering and we’re excited to tell stories with it.”
On top of Magic: The Gathering, the brothers are working on their own version of The Thomas Crown Affair with Michael B. Jordan. They are adapting the “hauntingly beautiful graphic novel” The Electric State, and Grim Jack. They will also be doing Battle of the Planets. So, the Russo Brothers have a lot on their plate!
