The Iron Mask was released last year in Russie and China under the name VIY 2: JOURNEY TO CHINA. The film is a continuation of the tale from a short story of the same name from 19th-century literary artist Nikolai Gogol. Is this kind of campy action film perfect for couples on Valentine’s Day? Or the perfect precursor to another amazing episode of They Called this a Movie. The Iron Mask is set in the 18th century and follows English traveler Jonathan Green as he traverses from Russia to China. Throughout his journey, he encounters dragons, black magic wizardry, and a dragon king.
The Iron Mask also stars Charles Dance, Jason Flemyng, Xingtong Yao, Anna Churina and the late Rutger Hauer and hit the UK cinemas and be available on digital on April 10th.
