When The Walking Dead premiered on October 31, 2010, our first glimpse into the series was Rick Grimes. We followed Rick as he was injured on the job, to waking up to a bizarre and terrifying world, to finding his family, and everything that followed. Although the series has branched out and has become so much more than a Rick Grimes story, it’s still odd to know that the actor has one more episode to go before we say goodbye.

In an upcoming video previewing the final episode, we’re really brought back to the first episode in the series. Not only do we see Rick Grimes in the hospital bed, and riding on a horse to the city of Atlanta, but we’re also faced with a  very familiar scene. One of the first scenes in the show’s premiere episode was Rick and his former best friend Shane sitting in their patrol car, shooting the breeze. Jon Bernthal was confirmed to appear in the episode and we can see from a side profile exactly how they’re incorporating the deceased character.

Per the synopsis for “What Comes Next:

“Rick is forced to face the past as he struggles to maintain the safety of the communities and protect the future he and Carl envisioned.”

We see that Rick’s journey will most likely end with him attempting to lead a herd of walkers away, as how the previous episode ended. Rick’s final episode premieres November 4th – what were your favorite Rick and/or Shane moments from The Walking Dead?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
