The Walking Dead’s Katelyn Nacon “Missed Out” On Playing Raven on Titans

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11588″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Despite the fact that Teagan Croft portrays Raven in the live-action Titans show on DC Universe, another actress expressed interest in playing the “complex” and moody superheroine. Katelyn Nacon plays Enid on The Walking Dead, but she recently spoke at a Q&A at the San Joe Fan Fest, where she was asked what Marvel character she’d like to play:

“Well, it’s not Marvel — mostly because I feel there’s not a lot of young Marvel girl superheroes, even in the comic books. And if there are, they’re not very well known.”

Nacon then went on to reveal the DC character she’d like to portray:

“But for the longest time I always thought it would be so cool to play Raven from the DC comic books. Because I mean, your dad is Satan? Oh my God! That’s a lot of complexness and messed up crap going on in there. So I’ve always thought that would be one of the coolest things.”

Of course, as mentioned before, Nacon does not play Raven. Instead, Croft does; which Nacon commented that she missed her chance to play the character, despite very much wanting to do so. She also expressed interest in playing Batgirl.

Despite Nacon stating that there were most likely no Marvel characters she’d like to play, co-star Ross Marquand, who played Red Skull in Avengers: Infinity War; offered up a suggestion to the young actress:

“You’d be a really good Shadowcat, Kitty Pryde. You’d be a really good — right? think you’d be really good at that.”

Maybe Nacon would consider Kitty Pryde? It’s unlikely Ellen Page would ever reprise the role and if they did decide to bring the X-Men character back to life within the MCU, it could be something Nacon may want to read up on. Would you have liked to see her as Raven? What other character do you have in mind for her? Let us know!
