Thriller ‘Escape the Field’ Adds Jordan Claire Robbins As the Lead

Jordan Claire Robbins, who is most well-known as Grace in Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, to star in the thriller Escape the Field. The film is set to go into production in Toronto next week. Under the COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Robbins replaces the previously announced Crystal Reed. Emerson Moore will direct the film. Sean M. Wathen and JD Dobkin wrote the screenplay. Escape the Field will follow six strangers who wake up trapped and disoriented in an endless cornfield. The six strangers discover thatthere is something mysterious hunting them. They must deal with this, all while armed with random items. Such as a compass, a canteen, a revolver with a single bullet, and more. This sounds like a nice little nod to Battle Royale.

DDI’s Jason Moring, who will produce the film; stated:

“Jordan was an absolute natural fit. She brings such energy and excitement to the film and we are extremely privileged to have her come aboard riding the momentum of one of Netflix’s most successful shows.”
