Thue Rasmussen Announces Departure From The Witcher Season 2 Due to Scheduling Conflicts

It should come as no surprise that will all these production delays that some actors may not be able to be involved in a project they previously signed up for. This is true for Thue Rasmussen, who announced that he will not be able to play Eskel in season two of Netflix’s The Witcher. This is due to scheduling conflicts that were caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rasmussen said this on Instagram on Wednesday, telling fans that he had to make the “heartbreaking” decision to leave the show.

Rasmussen was originally cast to play Eskel – who is another Witcher from the School of the Wolf. It is not known who will replace Rasmussen.
