Season two will now see her sister Blackfire come into the mix. Blackfire aka Komand’r is the oldest of the Tamaran Royal Family. In the comics, she is the first princess who was born in over 100 years and is the rightful heir to the throne. But, a childhood illness prevented her from harnessing the same powers that her younger siblings were able to. This caused Blackfire to become vindictive and paved the way for her actions moving forward.
Blackfire will have a personal vendetta against Starfire. Anna Diop did an excellent job as the character in the first season of the series and we know she is coming back for season two. A lot was unknown about her character; even Starfire herself didn’t know a lot. We were left with glimpses of her backstory and it seems that that story will be explored further in season two.
