Tom Holland Isn’t Sure When Uncharted or Spider-Man 3 Will Begin Filming

As you can imagine, we’re living in uncertain times. That uncertainty extends to the entertainment industry. Many movies are halting production. Release dates have been moved. As of right now, so much is up in the air. That includes some highly anticipated films, such as Spider-Man 3. In a recent chat between Jimmy Kimmel and Tom Holland, Holland revealed that he is unaware when Uncharted and Spider-Man 3 will start. Of course, Holland is ready for either, whenever Sony is.

“I’m not too sure, I’m not too sure. I was in berlin making a film called uncharted with mark wahlberg. And we were all ready to go, we went to set for day one of shooting, and then we got shut down and we got sent home. So whether we shoot that movie first or we shoot spider-man first, I’m unclear. But I don’t know, both movies are being made and they’re both really strong and the scripts are fantastic, so whatever happens, happens. But I’m ready to play both. I mean, I played spider-man enough, now I could play him tomorrow, so ready to go.”

Uncharted was meant to begin production in Germany last month, but as is the story with many other films, COVID-19 shut down everything. Because of this, Sony pushed Uncharted’s release from March 5, 2021 to October 8, 2021.

For now, the world waits with bated breath.
