The original movie came out in 1995, essentially changing animated films forever. Then the third movie came out in 2010 and all of us young adults cried like little babies witnessing not only the toys almost dying, but Andy giving his toys away. With the upcoming fourth installment, actor Tim Allen warns fans that we are in for a tear-jerker
“[Tom] Hanks said it best, of course he always says stuff best… But the last scene of that movie, I couldn’t even get through it.” The Buzz Lightyear actor revealed on an episode of Jimmy Fallen.
He then confirmed again:
“It was so emotional.”
If both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, the iconic duo brought Woody and Buzz to life to teach us valuable lessons as children; both say the ending of the fourth movie is emotional, it will be. And, we’re not kids anymore. So, I can only imagine the message it will have for us adults, especially those who grew up with the franchise.
Toy Story 4 hits theaters June 21, 2019. Will my 28-year-old self be there? Damn right I will be.
