If you aren’t a switch player and don’t know much about Travis Strikes Again allow me to fill you in. It takes place seven years after the events of the last No More Heroes game No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle and follows Travis Touchdown who unfortunately finds himself trapped inside a haunted video game console called the Death Drive Mk-II. He must fight his way out of the console hacking and slashing through countless different enemies and through various levels.
The game received fairly mixed reviews at launch with many praising the games artistic style and its standout moments but also saying the game’s combat felt repetitive fast and lacked a real challenge. The game does also feature local co-operative play.
Suda51 has already stated that there be some new No More heroes news coming at this years E3, saying “I hope around E3 time I’ll have something cool to announce”. Maybe some new details regarding Travis Strikes Again moving to new platforms or maybe even an announcement for the next game in the series? Only time will tell.
