Two Joe Exotic Specials to Air on the ID Channel

If you can’t get enough of Joe Exotic, do not worry. There’s more to come! ID channel is releasing JOE EXOTIC: TIGERS, LIES, and COVER-Up. Starting on September 27th, the feature will be followed by the prequel Joe Exotic saga, JOE EXOTIC: BEFORE HE WAS KING.

JOE EXOTIC: TIGERS, LIES, and COVER-UP

In Joe Exotic: Tigers, Lies, and Cover-Up, the special looks to find out what happened to Joe Exotic’s mortal enemy, Carol Baskin’s husband. The three-hour special will look into the evidence surrounding Don Lewis’s disappearance. The special features an exclusive jailhouse interview from Joe Exotic.

Retired homicide investigator Jim Rathmann will lead the investigation. Rathmann reveals new theories and relives Lewis’s final days. There will also be commentary by criminal and legal experts. Dillon Passage and members from “Team Tiger” (A group who is actively working to release Joe from jail) will also provide commentary.

In addition, the investigation will explore if Joe Exotic was always a predator. Joe Exotic: Tigers, Lies, and Cover-Up will begin with Parts 1 & 2 airing Sunday September 27th at 9/8c. It will conclude with Part 3 on Monday, September 28th at 9/8c on the ID Channel.

JOE EXOTIC: BEFORE HE WAS KING

Once Tigers, Lies, and Cover-Up concludes, you can tune in for Joe Exotic: Before He Was King. This special examines the childhood traumas that may have gone into shaping who Joe Exotic is to this day. This one-hour prequel special looks to uncover Joe’s dark past secrets. You can join a panel of forensic psychologists and law enforcement experts as they study this case. This includes Derrick Levasseur. There will be interviews with King’s inner circle. This includes a prison interview with Joe’s 2nd husband, Jeffrey Charles “JC” Hartpence. Joe Exotic: Before He Was King will premiere on Monday, September 28th at 10/9c on the ID channel.
