‘Venom’ Expected To Break Records Opening Weekend

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Sony’s upcoming Venom movie has had quite a roller coaster journey. From the lackluster reviews over Venom’s first trailer to now hype actually generating for the film, it’s being now predicted via Box Office Pro that this movie could break records. In its opening weekend, the Eddie Brock centered project could earn anywhere in between $55 and $85 million domestically. Venom could also potentially earn a 91% Average Positive Interest, which is world’s away from the general consensus I felt when the first trailer dropped.

Venom is definitely going to be Sony’s way into maintaining their own little piece of the Marvel world, with promoting a darker and edgier genre, while remaining PG-13 with the hopes that Tom Holland could appear at some time in the future. We certainly hope for this as well considering a Venom movie doesn’t quite feel like a Venom movie without the presence of Spider-Man.

Venom is premiering in theaters October 5th; how excited are you?
