WandaVision and Marvel does this great thing by giving you some things that you want and then completely throwing in curveballs that you hadn’t even considered. That’s what episode seven did. There have been things that we’ve been guessing for weeks. Some have paid off. And other things have been unexpected, but such a treat. Marvel knows what they’re doing – I just wish the episodes were longer because I need more! Seriously, though; this episode was all sorts of great.
What Happens In the Hex?
Not only did the Modern Family style fit really well, but I really enjoyed the Vision and Darcy scenes in this episode. There was so much to enjoy and geek out at. So much of it involved Monica and it’s been such a well-deserved journey for her. For fans who have wanted to see a particular evolution in Monica…you won’t be disappointed. Her story is about to become so much bigger and WandaVision was the perfect place to tell her story.
Everything feels as if it’s coming together. We’re slowly getting answers, but not only will this give way to more questions, but I feel it will only lead to heartbreak. As Wanda and Vision get more on the same page as to what’s really happening in Westview, I feel their bond will be stronger than ever. The real villain is being revealed and we’re moving into a more MCU style of adventure.
Rating: 4.5/5
I don’t want to give too much away as the episode did just air. Watch it and see what you think. I personally thought the episode was very eye opening and the catalyst to what is coming next. Also, there is actually a mid-credit scene – so make sure you check that out!
