With news coming out about Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey eyeing a February 7 2020 launch date and tons of Joaquin Phoenix Joker images. today we have word from The Wrap’s own Ace Scooper Umberto Gonzalez that Warner Bros. loves Matt Reeves script and they are hoping for a summer 2019 production start date. He does mention that Matt is going to make some revisions which is typical but this is great news. Lots of times studios do not always approve of first drafts. This is seems like maybe only a few revisions will need to be made and then we can finally get this film going. Yesterday a marketing department rep posted some images of himself and Ben Affleck with a bat emoji, a film reel emoji and a message saying 2019 will be an exciting year! Is it a coincidence that we get news today that Matt Reeves Batman film will begin production in 2019 and that ominous message from the marketing rep? I think not!
