Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced that Martin Scorsese‘s Oscar-winning crime thriller The Departed will be available to own for the first time on 4K UHD Blu-Ray and Digital on April 23, 2024. The 4K remaster was completed at Warner Bros. Discovery’s Motion Picture Imaging (MPI) with the participation of the film’s Academy Award-winning editor Thelma Schoonmaker (Raging Bull, The Aviator).

The film’s prestigious ensemble cast stars Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant), Academy Award winner Matt Damon (The Martian), three-time Academy Award Winner Jack Nicholson (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest), and Academy Award nominee Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter), with Emmy Award winner Martin Sheen (television’s “The West Wing”), BAFTA nominee Ray Winstone (Nil by Mouth), Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air), Academy Award nominee Alec Baldwin (The Cooler), Emmy nominee Anthony Anderson (television’s “Black-ish”), and James Badge Dale in supporting roles. Get more details below!
