Warner Reveals Exciting New Action Images From Upcoming First Installment Of ‘Batman: The Long Halloween’

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a series of new images from the previously announced Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 1, a new entry to the DC Animated Movies line which is heading to Blu-Ray and Digital on June 22, 2021. The centerpiece of Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One revolves around the triumvirate of crimefighters – Batman/Bruce Wayne, Police Captain James Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent – as they try to solve the mystery of the Holiday Killer. These images comes on the heels of the announcement of the release date for The Long Halloween, Part 2, which you can learn about here.

Check out some of the exciting images from the upcoming first installment below:

Not that he smiles often, but Batman is particularly pushed to his most intense edges – by the Holiday Killer, the Joker, two mobs and a bevy of villains – in Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One. Jensen Ackles (Supernatural, The Boys) provides the voice of Batman.
Is he assisting in solving crimes, or simply toying with the crimefighters? Nobody is entirely certain where Calendar Man is concerned in Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One. David Dastmalchian (The Suicide Squad, Dune, Ant-Man, The Flash) provides the voice of Calendar Man.
Where action is concerned, Catwoman keeps pace – and sometimes outpaces – Batman throughout Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One. The late Naya Rivera (Glee) provides the voice of Catwoman.
As a mob war builds to a crescendo, Carmine “The Roman” Falcone – leader of the most powerful crime syndicate in Gotham City – decides to align with an altogether different set of criminals as the Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One story unfolds. Titus Welliver (Bosch, Deadwood) gives voice to Falcone in.
Plagued by fear, depression and some dark secrets of her own, Gilda Dent has one of the most serious roles in Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One. Gilda is voiced by Julie Nathanson (Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay).
Batman is forced to fight battles on multiple fronts – in pursuit of the Holiday Killer, attempting to halt a mob war, and dealing with a rising group of Gotham City’s villains, including those far beneath the streets – in Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One. Solomon Grundy, voiced by Fred Tatasciore (American Dad!, Family Guy), mostly keeps to his home in the sewers … until provoked.
With the Holiday Killer infringing on his territory, Joker makes it his mission to ensure everyone understands that Gotham City has “only room for one homicidal maniac” in Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One. Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Batman: Arkham Knight) voices the Clown Prince of Darkness in the all-new film.

Synopsis: Inspired by the iconic mid-1990s DC story from Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One begins as a brutal murder on Halloween prompts Gotham’s young vigilante, the Batman, to form a pact with the city’s only two uncorrupt lawmen (Police Captain James Gordan and District Attorney Harvey Dent) in order to take down The Roman, head of the notorious and powerful Falcone Crime Family. But when more deaths occur on Thanksgiving and Christmas, it becomes clear that, instead of ordinary gang violence, they’re also dealing with a serial killer – the identity of whom, with each conflicting clue, grows harder to discern. Few cases have ever tested the wits of the World’s Greatest Detective like the mystery behind the Holiday Killer.
