Wentworth Miller Won’t Return for Another Season of Prison Break; Doesn’t Want to Play Straight Characters Anymore

Prison Break was a fan-favorite series that starred Wentworth Miller as the lead. It ran for four seasons originally before coming back for a fifth season in the last few years. While fans would like a sixth season, Miller has gone to social media to announce that he will not return for another season:

“I’m out. Of PB. Officially. Not [because] of static on social media (although that has centered the issue). I just don’t want to play straight characters. Their stories have been told (and told).”

He went on to say:

“I understand this is disappointing. I’m sorry. If you’re hot and bothered [because] you fell in love with a fictional straight man played by a real gay one…That’s your work. – W.M.”

What do you think about Miller’s decision? Were you hoping for another season of Prison Break?
