Halloween and Netflix
Netflix and October Oh YEAH! Halloween is already my favorite holiday and Netflix isn’t going to let us down this month. Kicking it off is Adam Sandler’s Hubie Halloween. Hubie Dubois (Sandler) makes sure Salem Citizens have a safe Halloween every year. This year there is trouble on the loose, an escaped convict and he has to be stopped. Sanders pulled out all the big-name celebrities to join him in this Halloween film: Kevin James (with an awesome beard) Maya Rudolph, Julie Bowen, Kenan Thompson, Mikey Day, Shaquille O’Neal, Ray Liotta, Tim Meadows, and Steve Buscemi.
What all Halloween lovers like me have been waiting for: The Haunting of Bly Manor. Created by the Haunting of Hill House this series takes several people from Hill House and transports them to a new blood-curdling story.
Originals
Be on the lookout for some Netflix Originals this month. The Trial of the Chicago 7 is definitely on my list to watch. The story is about the Chicago Seven, a group of seven defendants charged by the federal government with conspiracy in 1969 and 1970. The Seven were charged with inciting to riot, in Chicago, Illinois at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. All protests were related to the Vietnam War. In addition check out Netflix’s other original series coming out this month: Grand Army and The Queen’s Gambit, and many more.
Emmy Winners final season
And the winner is: “Schitt’s Creek,” and now fans or new comers can find out why this show won just about everything at the Emmys. This will be the sixth and final season of the critically acclaimed sitcom. Watch for it to drop in on Oct. 7.
