The last official Avengers film was in 2019 with Avengers: Endgame. So, when can we expect to see the next Avengers film?
According to Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios; we’ll probably have to wait some time before another epic team-up:
“I think we want there to be a reasonable amount of time from the Endgame to start a new saga, which is already underway and already started. And then you need time, as you did in Phase 1, to build that saga before you start bringing everyone together.”
This makes sense. The first Avengers brought together characters we had been introduced to before. Now, after so many characters retiring, we have new characters that we need to be introduced to. So, it’ll be a while before we see a major team-up again. The next time we do see the Avengers on screen they will be lead by the new Captain America, Sam Wilson.
