Will David Harbour Return to the MCU After Black Widow?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”29642″ img_size=”800×450″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Black Widow looks promising, but the all-star cast may be one of the downsides of the film considering it’s a prequel movie and we have to wonder, will we ever see any of these characters ever again? Not only does the Black Widow film take place before Avengers: Infinity War, but Black Widow is currently dead. If characters like David Harbour’s and Rachel Weisz’s are so deeply tied to Natasha Romanoff, where is their future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe without her?

According to We Got This Covered, who got this rumor from multiple sources; Harbour will actually return in the MCU after Black Widow. This should be taken with a grain of salt, but considering how happy fans are that Harbour will be playing the Red Guardian (aka Russia’s Captain America), it’d be a shame to just see him in one movie. This rumor states that Alexei Shostakov [Red Guardian] will return in Phase 5 and Phase 6. Considering how far away those phases are, anything could happen. Maybe Florence Pugh will replace Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow? We don’t know, but with Steve Rogers gone, there also goes a Red Guardian and Captain America interaction.

I know I want Harbour to be more involved in the MCU, but do you think that this rumor carries weight? Maybe if Black Widow is a success and Pugh’s Yelena and Harbour’s Red Guardian are well received, Disney/Marvel will consider it?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
