Will Smith Wanted For Jordan Peele’s Universal Monsters Film

After the huge success of Leigh Whannel’s The Invisible Man, which has grossed over $125 million on  a $7 million budget, it was no shock that Universal would look to continue their “Monster” universe going. Jordan Peele has made quite a name for himself in the horror genre and he’s not slowing down any time soon. In fact, Peele had previously signed a five-year first-look deal with Universal and one will be part of the new Monsterverse [after the success of The Invisible Man]. Who will be involved in Peele’s Monsterverse film? Apparently, Will Smith is a strong candidate.

There’s no telling what project Peele is working on, but reports say the studio is eying Smith as the lead. It should be said that there is no word if Smith has been involved in any sort of talks, but this would certainly be a powerhouse combination if he were to join.

What Monsterverse film do you want Peele to be in charge of? And would you want Smith to be involved?
