Here’s a newsflash for you: That new Halloween movie? It’s going to be pretty popular. From the reviews that have been posted so far, I’d say it will be a smashing success. So with that in mind, it doesn’t take a Rhodes Scholar to realize that another Halloween movie is likely in the works at some point.

Apparently the folks over at Bloody Disgusting believe that too as they are reporting that work has already begun on the next Halloween film. At this point, details are lacking but it is believed that work has already begun on a possible story. It is also thought that Danny McBride and David Gordon Green probably won’t be involved in this new film. Previous reports had Mcbride and Green discussing the possibility of filming two movies back to back but this never came to fruition.

In Addition, it is speculated that if they were to get all their ducks in a row, they could possibly have a follow up hit the screen as early as October of 2019.  As far fetched as they might sound, the production on the about to be released film was delayed on Green’s take and didn’t actually begin until January. Furthermore, when you consider Blumhouses proclivity for pushing out sequels, the idea of a number of Halloween movies doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility.

How does a follow up to Halloween sound? Do you think a quality sequel can be pushed out in the time frame that is speculated? Your are now a member of the production team, give us your thoughts at GVNation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
