If one superhero is good then more is better. Also, if those heroes are attached to Marvel, they’re almost guaranteed gold on the screen. With the success of ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Deadpool 2’ and a brief flash of X-Force in the latter, it only makes sense to make an actual X-Force film in the MCU. No matter the circumstances. However, if the big screen isn’t realistically possible, why not Hulu, right?
While the sequel/spin-off was set to actually happen, news of the Disney/Fox merger was circulating and being finalized. All of which left Deadpool and team in the wind. Now, with Disney moving forward with its Disney+ streaming service and a majority stake in Hulu, Marvel has room to do it’s lighter content on one service and it’s darker content on the other. This is where we can get excited. According to We Got This Covered, we could possibly see X-Force on Hulu. I am personally excited about this option. We saw how good Marvel’s series’ could be while on Netflix and with them soon vanishing from the platform altogether, they can thrive with Marvel at the wheel. Also, Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz would all be reprising their roles.
Whether it’s a feature film or miniseries on Hulu, I’m just happy that it’s still being made. We can only hope that it happens sooner than later. We’ll keep you up to date when we learn more.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
