‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ Trailer Shown At 20th Century Fox’s Marketing Presentation

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”6448″ img_size=”800×400″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The fate of X-Men: Dark Phoenix was in limbo briefly, but everything seems to be back on track for the upcoming, highly-anticipated film. We’ve been seeing reshoots for the movie, which will star Sophie Turner; featuring Jessica Chastain’s mystery character. And according to reports, we may very well see a first glimpse at a trailer for Dark Phoenix soon! This comes from Nikita Byrkin of The Flick reporting that 20^th Century recently hosted a promotional showing in St. Petersburg, Russia. During this presentation, a trailer was shown for Dark Phoenix, but due to the embargo, Byrkin could not speak any further about what was viewed.

Dark Phoenix is set to come out during Valentine’s Day weekend in 2019 and considering how this movie and New Mutants looked like they weren’t going to get made at some point, we’re all really anticipating both movies. Turner has been met with positive feedback for her performance as a Jean Grey in previous X-Men movies and with her wrapping up her tenure on Game of Thrones, we’re excited to have her still on screen as the powerful mutant.

Speaking with Digital Spy, Turner went into detail about the reshoots we’re seeing for the film:

“I think it’s just a few bits and bobs, reshoot-wise. To be honest, I don’t even know what we’re reshooting at the moment. So I couldn’t really tell you much about that one. All I know is that I’ll be back in Montreal at some point soon, and that Valentine’s Day release date is quite a positive thing, because Black Panther got released on Valentine’s Day. So we’re keeping positive about it.”
