Zack Snyder Says He ‘Might’ Watch ‘Justice League’ (2017)

During his press tour for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Zack Snyder has had a lot to say about the 2017 film. A film that he says he has never seen before. Snyder only knows about certain details of the film based on stuff his fans have told him and stuff he has seen in passing. He has been asked about CGI face Superman which he replied saying “I’ve only seen it in memes”

In a new interview with IMDb, the director says he might get around to eventually watching the 2017 version of Justice League.

“Because I haven’t seen the theatrical version of the movie, and how it ended up, I was never sure, and I’m sure not, maybe at some point I’ll take a look at it, but I’m still not exactly sure what roles were maybe diminished or removed. I think, of course, number one on the list is Ray Fisher’s Cyborg story being really central to the sort of entire movie.”

When the film was first released, Christopher Nolan and Zack’s wife Deborah, both saw the film and told Zack that he can never see that movie. Zack says that his cut of Justice League wraps things up but he held out hope that he might be able to come back for more Justice League sequels. That hope seemed to fizzle out after comments made by WarnerMedia’s Ann Sarnoff. The WB exec said that they do not plan to move forward with Zack Snyder nor do they plan to release any version of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.

Hopefully Ann will not have the final say and CEO Jason Kilar will hear the cries of fans wanting them to #RestoreTheSnyderVerse and we get some sort of series on HBO Max.
