Marvel’s ‘Spider-Man 3’ has been full swing in production for over a month now and certain rumors are beginning to be confirmed, and high among them is Alfred Molina reprising his role of Otto Octavius/ Doc Ock from 2004’s ‘Spider-Man 2’. Although, it is unknown if this will be the same Octavius or one from an alternate timeline.

Recently Zendaya joined in for Variety’s Actors on Actors. she couldn’t reveal much but did offer:
“He is so nice”
While it may not be much in the form of a quote it does confirm that Molina is in the film and may be sharing scenes with the actress, which would imply that his role is possibly beyond that of just a cameo. Also among the casting news that is mostly confirmed is Charlie Cox returning as Matt Murdock (unknown if he will suit up as Daredevil as well). Other villain rumors have involved Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman, and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin as well as the possible returns of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their own respective wall crawlers.
Right now filming is still underway in Atlanta and the film is set to release on December 17th of this year. How excited are you for the possibility of all of these rumored castings?
