Zoe Saldana Almost Played Lois Lane in The DCEU

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”22415″ img_size=”900×500″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]It’s been six years since Man of Steel debuted in theaters and we are still learning things about the film. It’s hard to imagine anyone other than Amy Adams playing Lois Lane in the DCEU but that could have been the case according to Zack Snyder.

Speaking with ComicBook Debate, Snyder revealed that the casting for Lois Lane was between Zoe Saldana and Amy Adams.

“They’re totally different, but their presence is super strong.”

Of course the role went to Adams and Saldana went on to play Gamora for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One has to wonder though had Saldana gotten the part as Lois and not gone on the play the daughter of the Mad Titan, Thanos, how things would have been.

Both Adams and Saldana are talented actresses and I know both would have been great in the role but I’m glad it worked out like it did. I can’t picture anyone else playing Gamora other than Zoe and Amy is terrific as Lois.

Are you glad how things turned out or would you have loved to seen Zoe as Lois? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
