For the week of August 4th, we have some incredible releases making their way to our shelves. Read on to get a brief overview of what you should have on your wishlist, then be sure to dive into the full rundown in the video below.

This week, we spotlight the highly anticipated 4K UHD Blu-Ray debut of the sci-fi box office hit Project Hail Mary courtesy of Amazon MGM Studios. The film starring Ryan Gosling is presented in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio, a commentary track, deleted scenes, and featurettes. We have more films from the studio fresh from theaters, including the family-friendly whodunnit The Sheep Detectives starring Hugh Jackman alongside an array of talented voice actors portraying the titular sheep. The film debuts on Blu-Ray with Dolby Atmos audio. Universal has the WWII drama Pressure starring Andrew Scott and Brendan Fraser arriving on 4K UHD Blu-Ray with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and a selection of featurettes.

It’s a big month for the folks at NEON, starting with the concert documentary EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert from director Baz Luhrmann on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in SDR. There is also the folk horror outing Hokum starring Adam Scott on 4K UHD Blu-Ray. The release includes a commentary track from director Damian McCarthy, a making-of documentary, and more. Things remain creepy with the video game adaptation Exit 8 on Blu-Ray, which includes an hour-long making-of documentary. Mubi also has an indie offering with the Golden Lion winner Father Mother Sister Brother from director Jim Jarmusch on Blu-Ray. The film features Adam Driver, Charlotte Rampling, Cate Blanchett, and more.

Fans of trashy dramas are in for a treat this week with the release of Fresh Horses starring Andrew McCarthy and Molly Ringwald on Blu-Ray courtesy of Alliance Entertainment. The label also has the thriller Past Midnight starring Rutger Hauer and Natasha Richardson on Blu-Ray.
