A Justice League: Rebirth Film Is Rumored To Be In Development At Warner Bros.

Regardless of what you’ve heard of seen, Warner Bros. is looking to move forward from the previous era of the DCEU. Jeremy Conrad has reported that the studio is in development for a Justice League: Rebirth movie. According to Conrad, this is a separate universe and will not be a continuation of the Zack Snyder Justice League. This may be a little confusing considering there seems to be a lot of different universe within the DC movie slate, but more on that another time.

In the comics world, Rebirth was the end of the New 52 era and the relaunch of DC Comics entire line up. DC Rebirth restored the DC Universe to a form much like that prior to the 2011 “Flashpoint” storyline.  Rebirth signifies a reboot, which has us thinking are they going to completely recast some of the biggest superheroes – some who are played by already iconic actors at this point. It should be noted that it seemed like Warner Bros. was always going to move on from the Snyder era of DC. With a rebirth film, the studio might be looking to not be subtle about this transition.

What do you think about this rumor?
